Concept
Infants are not able to communicate their needs verbally, often resorting to crying as their only means of expression. This presents a challenge for new mothers who must decipher the cause of their baby’s distress. Is the infant hungry, in need of a diaper change, or experiencing some other discomfort?
To address this issue, I am developing an app that will work in tandem with a future “detective” device for mothers. The app will provide real-time notifications to alert mothers if their baby has a fever or if they are hungry, based on data gathered by the device.
In designing the app, I have opted for a soft color palette, including baby blue for boys and an optional pink for girls.
