Deliverable: Series of Posters

1. Location and Earthquake
When creating this poster, my goal was to efficiently and thoughtfully present the core characteristics of San Francisco within a limited visual space. Therefore, I selected the following key elements:
Geographical Location
Seismic Zone & Earthquakes
Post-Earthquake Reconstruction
Nightscape
I chose these elements over others, such as tourist attractions or cultural activities, because they more precisely convey San Francisco’s geographical significance, historical transformation, and city spirit, creating a visually compelling and narratively rich composition.

2. Population
In this poster, I chose to highlight San Francisco’s population growth and racial changes because these two factors have profoundly influenced the city’s development and cultural landscape.
By presenting these data, viewers can see how San Francisco has undergone different social and cultural transformations throughout history, shaping the diverse city we know today.
3. Landmark
I chose to showcase one of San Francisco’s most iconic landmarks: The Golden Gate Bridge, because it is not only a symbol of the city but also an engineering marvel in world history.
This poster provides a brief introduction to the bridge’s location, dimensions, materials, and design history, highlighting the history and engineering achievements behind this world-famous structure.
